يعتبر مقياس المشكلات الاجتماعية مقياسا مهم حيث يتعرف فيه الطالب على المفاهيم المتعلقة بالمشكلات الاجتماعية كالظاهرة الاجتماعية وأسبابها وعوامل، وكذلك طرق ومناهج قياس ودراسة المشكلات الاجتماعية والقائمين عليها، في نهاية هذا السداسي سيصبح باستطاعة الطالب أن يميز بين مختلف المفاهيم المرتبطة بهذا المقياس
