Aims and Objectives:
- To introduce the notion of “Didactics” to learners, and to tell them its domain and role in Language teaching and learning.
- To cope with the historical teaching methods, their tenets, and how to be an Eclectic teacher.
- To determine the notions’ concepts as Communication Interaction, Communicative Competence, and communication strategies.
- To give the opportunity to EFL learners to tackle lessons, to plan skills and sub-skills and how to teach them from observable perspectives.
Learning Outcomes:
- 1Introducing the field “Didactics”, its meaning, and its area of study.
- Dealing with the different Teaching Methods in EFL Classrooms.
- Defining the concepts “Communication- Communicative Competence- Interaction”.
- Familiarizing the learners with the different EFL teachers’ roles and how to assess the enrolled learners.
- Coping with learning theories and contributions to facilitate learning.
- Socializing the EFL learners with both processes of “Teaching/Learning” and showing them with practical, observable situations how to manage classrooms

- • Unit five: Teaching/ learning the receptive skills (Listening and Reading)
- • Unit Six: Teaching/ learning the receptive skills (Speaking and Writing)
