Electronic Components Technology 2

The Electronic Components Technology 2 course covers the design of power supplies (transformers, rectification, filtering, 78xx, 79xx, and LM317 regulators). It deals with power components (thyristor, triac, FET, UJT) and optoelectronic components (LEDs, LCDs, photodiodes, optocouplers). The course also addresses TTL and CMOS circuits, their characteristics, and interfacing. Special logic integrated circuits (decoders, multiplexers, counters, 555 timer) are studied. Relays, microphones, loudspeakers, and quartz crystals are also presented. Finally, documentation on components and their manufacturers is explored.
